favorite meditation resources

Meditation took me forever to embrace. I found myself openly cringing and giggling every time the leader would start because I found it all a little uncomfortable. I practice it everyday (okay maybe not EVERYday…some times I slack off…okay listen I can feel you judging me through the screen but you were the one who clicked on a teenager’s granola-y website so wipe that little smirk off of your face please and thank you). To give you an idea of how I meditate, I turn the lights off, sit or lay down on my bed, light a candle or incense, grab my healing stones, pick an intention, and play a podcast or guided meditation. I found the below resources to be so helpful and because you are such a cutie for reading this, I’m linking them to be extra nice.

The Slowdown with Tracy R. Smith

This podcast is (and I very sparingly use this word) sublime. It is so nice to reflect on and listen to. Linked here are a collection of episodes on Hope, Kindness, and More.

Incense Matches

These are so convenient and a great way to see if incense is something you want to invest in. I’m obsessed with them. Linked here just for you because I like you so much.

Healing Stones

Healing stones can be bought from so many local metaphysical shops or on Etsy! They’re so great for meditation because they can help you focus and set your intention.

Calm App

The fact that they have a sleep story read by Harry Styles should be reason enough to download this app, just saying. They constantly have discount promotions along with a free trial at the beginning. It has dozens of sleep stories, meditations, and reflections to tune into. If you can’t afford the app, many of the meditations are offered on Spotify as well!

I Am Here Now Mindfulness Journal

I got this book last Christmas and use it ALL THE TIME. I like to throw it in my bag before leaving the house in case I get a second to sit and focus on it. The website linked here also has a free guided meditation that I LOVE. Highly recommend it.

I hope these few resources help a little bit. Be well cuties!
